The AI image generation API creates an image from a text prompt. Each call returns a job ID, and the result stays available for download under that ID for a limited time.

Generate
POST /api/v1/ai/images with a prompt (up to 2,000 characters) and optional width, height and samples. Keep the job ID.

Check the job (optional)
GET /api/v1/ai/images/{job} returns its status and when it expires.

Download the image
GET /api/v1/ai/images/{job}/artifact returns the image file. DELETE removes the stored job data.

AI image generation API: frequently asked questions
What is the AI image generation API?
It is a text to image API: send a prompt and download the picture by job ID. If you need an AI image generator for products, banners or automated workflows, this is the endpoint to call.
How long can I download a result?
Each call is stored as a job with an expiry date, returned by the job endpoint. Download the artifact and keep your own copy.
How many images can I request at once?
Between 1 and 4 samples per request.
Does cancelling stop the upstream work?
Cancel removes the stored job data according to the endpoint behavior. It does not promise that upstream processing stops.
How is it billed?
Per generated image. Checking a job, downloading the artifact and cancelling are free. See the endpoint table below. New accounts receive 200 credits after verification.

Pricing depends on the endpoint and billable units. Failed live requests are not replaced with billable examples. Check your account limits before running repeated requests.
